Charron Verona

"My name is Charron Varona. I graduated cum laude from Cal State Fullerton in 2018 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Public Relations. Currently, I am a rising 2L at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. I am in the Civil Litigation and Advocacy Concentration and I am a member of the nationally ranked Byrne Trial Team. During my time at CSUF I participated in Moot Court from 2017-2018. At the time, I was not sure that going to law was something I wanted to do. Joining moot court completely changed that. Moot court taught me how to read Supreme Court decisions, how to deliver an appellate oral argument, how to write a legal brief, and so much more. While on the team I advanced to the national championship competition where my partner and I won an award for our legal brief. My experience in moot court gave me the confidence I needed to apply to law school and pursue my dreams. Without moot court I would have still be confused as to whether law was the right field for me. I am forever grateful for our coach Dr. Fiber-Ostrow and my teammates, who are like my family now.”
